GDT 10/31/21: Braves vs Astros - World Series Game 5

I don't want to get hyperbolic, because we are just talking about Ehire Adrianza here, but that's not a completely insignificant loss. Adrianza is, at minimum, a competent hitter and generally a major league-caliber baseball player, and Camargo is...not either of those things.

Luckily we have the DH tonight. Only bench player who should see any kind of action is Gore in a pinch running situation late if needed.

The good news is that we won't need a ph tonight.

Just saw that the Braves are having a watch party inside Truist Park tonight, which you can buy a ticket for, and concessions will be open. Keep that revenue flowing!

nice. and they won't have to share that ticket revenue with the Astros either.

WTF? You can have a kid anytime. You may never get to the World Series again.

Don't blame Adrianza. Camargo is (and was) behind this. Maybe if he started dropping a few shots in the stands instead, he wouldn't have to go through so much trouble to get on the roster.

Adrianza on paternity leave, Camargo taking his place.

"MLB rules require that Adrianza spend a minimum of one day and a maximum of three on the paternity list, though the latter will not come into play with the season set to conclude in less than 48 hours."

Whether he wants to or not, Adrianza MUST abandon his teammates for Game 6 of the World Series... per MLB rule.

He's been saving his one hit all year just for the right moment. Finally CamarGOATs time to shine.
