GDT 10/7/23: Braves vs Philthies - NLDS Game 1

The greatest offense of all ****ing time!!!! Not even a close 2nd. Braves players wives', lock these buncha betas out the house
 
The offday is going to allow us to start strider and Fried 3 of 4 and 4 of 5 if series goes that far...so honestly while annoying, the offday is the only thing keeping the Braves in this series. We should be extremely thankful or we'd be looking at either back to back bullpen games or Strider on 3 days rest - and given Strider is our future, I don't see any chance we ever let him go on 3 days rest.
 
You just can't make up that we arguably have the best offense ever and we put up a zero. I don't actually believe the Braves franchise is some franchise of chokers across different players, eras, etc. I just flat don't believe that.

But from a humor standpoint, you just can't make this sh*t up. Like 2003 I get it, Wood and Prior were just next level. But really? This is how we get shut-out? Really??? wtf

Ya if you’d have told me pregame Strdier goes 7 and gives up 1ER and the Phillies pretty much threw a BP game I’d have bet the house on Atlanta.

Also allows Wheeler to pitch games 2 and 5, so careful what you wish for.
 
I'm torn... can I be happy about the dodgers getting their butt kicked when it might help the Phillies?
