GDT 10/7, NLDS Game Two, Braves-Marlins (Braves up 1-0 in the series)

?

Talent = something god gave you
Execution = something you worked tirelessly on

that is not true at all?
exactly what striker said: i'd say the ability to execute is a talent.
Anderson couldn't get where he is thru "execution"; he has to have the talent first.
it all falls under the same umbrella.
Touki's issues with control aren't because Anderson works harder on it....

Intelligence is a talent. Work ethic is a talent.

It’s funny to call Tom Brady an average athlete as if he’s the grocery store clerk haha. That made me chuckle.

Work ethic isn't a talent.

Tom Brady is a pretty average athlete. He's not fast. He only has above average zip and distance. His ability to work hard and execute are what makes him good. Those are things he worked for and were not given to him.

and lol wasn't Kurt Warner a grocery store clerk?

Got out of it luckily, Snit bailed. A couple insurance runs would be needed.

right, Tom Brady is a great athlete. he's not jacked and fast compared to other NFL players, but he has athletic qualities that are also much better than others.

And you know that Touki works just as hard at control as Anderson... how?

Seems to me he probably works more on movement and not control.

O’Day needs to get his sh*t together.

DOD has been great. That was like his worst outing all year and we came out of it. Just like yesterday was one of Fried's worst games and we came out the winner there. In the past playoffs we would be on the losing end of those situations.

Didnt like bringing in O'Day. Anderson was doing fine.

Oday either should have been brought in the face Aguilar, or Ian left in.

What we saw happen was the direct result of Snit mismanaging the pitching staff. Joyce vs Oday in a high leverage spot simply can’t be allowed to happen. It was a complete fail tactically.

Braves pitching has gotten lucky a few times in these 3.5 plus playoff games. Very lucky to be facing two offensively challenged teams.

holy ****, there is so much more that makes Tom Brady good.
some QBs who have more *arm talent* than Brady can work as hard as they want, and they'll never be as good as Brady.

Twit went out there not sure if he was pulling Ian or not. They talked and I assume something Ian said prompted the decision. I give twit grief. But I don’t think this was on twit personally
