We have concluded there was no fraud without an investigation?

Interesting. Seems some have arrived at the conclusion they want as opposed to the one that can be verified.

Here's the thing. I have no idea if Trump's team has any convincing evidence of fraud. If they do, it's a shame that they haven't shown it yet. All the idiotic court cases up to this point have discredited anything that will come after. If there was something real and able to be proved, then that should have been what they led with it, even if it took waiting until the last minute.

This has turned into a circus. If Trump cared about his platform as much as I do, he would have handled the election results and any challenges with dignity. Not doing so has done long term and likely irreparable harm to that platform.

Evidence has been presented that any reasonable auditor would conclude substantive testing needs to be performed. That testing has been blocked at every turn.

Love free money from the match.

If you followed populist Twitter you would have known to reallocate your retirement assets to guaranteed money market funds.

Absolutely stupid how much better of a position a reasonably adept finance person was during this time. Absurd redistribution of wealth to those that already had money.

The match rules.

I could probably make more pulling some out of 401k contribution and into the market, but I'd hate to lose that free match portion. That combined with strong returns since inception make it a pretty dang safe outlet.

It’s all about projecting what your marginal rate will be now or when you retire. A lot of people end up making more per year when they are retired and therefore the tax shelter is not worth it. But once it’s in the 401k you get hamstring due to the 10% early withdrawal penalty.

There are some hardship clauses to avoid that but they are limited.

Meanwhile, I've been fighting with my job because my retirement "disappeared" and suddenly became 0. "Coding error" that they can't seem to fix. Luckily for me, I've kept all my records so I can prove how much should be in there. But it still hasn't been corrected in almost a year now.

Good for yall. Retirement Return % this year is like 18.86% so a huge bump as I'm maxing out and so is my wife.

Not to mention we just refi'd to a 15 year note @2.5%. Cashed out about 15k to retire some left over wedding debt and zero HELOC. Cut 10 years off mortgage for an extra 200 a month.

Smart. These interest rates are ridiculous. Might as well take advantage bc the long term is quite scary

This year has been a war on citizens.

White collar has thrived while lecturing all the peasants about how selfish they are for wanting to make a living

I'll get a buyout when I retire, and it won't be before 65 or so. I can work part time after 55 or so until then. Hell i may still enjoy piddling around here at 70 i guess. I plan to have 401k well stacked when that comes around but i won't be taking out early.

Id need to see real data to back this up from my employer...

Not something to mess with especially missing out on potentially 20% interest...

Who is the serviced of the plan?

Like I said much earlier in this thread...the rich keep getting richer, poor keep getting poorer. Doesn't seem to matter who is in office.

Friends thought I was crazy during the 2016 primaries when they asked who I wanted to win the election. I told them Trump or Bernie. They seemed like the only possibilities to make major changes in that area.

I do think the trade war with China and the NAFTA rewrite were a good start. Not nearly enough, but a good start. If Trump really has pushed the GOP into a blue collar populism direction then I think that will be enormously helpful. The idea of unions not having to be partisan to survive anymore makes me giddy.

We're transitioning to Voya, do any of their funds stand out to grab or avoid?

More threats from state democrats to whistleblowers talking about what they saw on election night.

This is disturbing.
