Oh I definitely agree that Thethe is on a whole other level. Sturg seemed to be a solid tier below Thethe, but in the last few weeks of Thethe’s absence Sturg has kicked it up a notch. He’s not spouting delusions like Thethe, but he’s getting close with the level of mental gymnastics used to discuss what happened yesterday.

I asked him to name his terms several times. I offered the bet several times after that... But goldy wisely didn't take the bet... bc he never actually believed Trump wasn't going to barricade himself in the office or deploy the military or call for martial law or blah blah blah

Wise of goldy to not take that bet.

I have the common sense to know I don’t need to spin what happened yesterday into something comparable to another event. Why did yesterday, or any other event orchestrated by Trump, need to be justified or compared to something else? It should stand on its own, but Sturg wants to bring other issues into the conversation. Yesterday’s domestic terrorism has absolutely nothing to do with BLM or any number of events from this summer. But yet he feels the need to play mental gymnastics to justify an event. I don’t need moral high ground to know what I said is correct.

The media has contributed to this environment without recourse. They are just as greedy for clicks as the Twitter sphere that 57 yanks it to. No precedent to tell the real truth - just what sells or clicks
