Sure, the sample size is small. I usually don't take a change in performance seriously until it has been sustained for 400 or so at bats. I've talked about Pena in other threads. Maybe I have a weak spot for him. But he looks to be a much stronger hitter to me now than he was with the Yankees. Not that I saw him a lot when he was the Yankees. We'll see.
Had he not been hurt last year, he would have approached 400 plate appearances. The Braves loved his contributions in 2013.
