GDT 4/10 Weso... We playing tonight or what? (Continued)

While I love the José Ramírez pipe-dream, at least Riley has played (seemingly) very solid defense, and posted solid batting inputs (like I mentioned up-thread, he's had a big BA/xBA under-performance). So, unfortunately, I think the more difficult position to upgrade (CF) is the position that'll end up being most in need of an upgrade.

Riley can go to OF if he starts hitting. Acuna to center

Riley surprisingly versatile on defense. Allows flexibility for the potential offensive upgrade

The lack of DH is probably good for the Braves. Because we are broke and can't afford another bat anyway

Disagree, just because I think having the DH would open up more trade options—whether you look for a legit bat for LF, with Ozuna moving to DH, or for 3B with Ozuna moving to DH and Riley to LF, et cetera. Trade options are more limited knowing Ozuna has to play LF.

Riley was a surprisingly-plus LFer, but I'm not sure I want him in RF. And, as I said above, we know Ozuna has to be in LF.

Still, it'd be a good problem to have. And, moreover, Cleveland would probably require Riley in such a trade, so it likely wouldn't end up being a problem.

IF the Braves are broke... filling that spot with a cheap option while the Mets go legit is a net negative, IMO
