I know you are never getting off that train. If he somehow does then it would be incredible for a someone to live up to that sort of hype. As it is you can say he's already lived up to expectations since he graced ESPN's The Mag cover at like 16.

I think it’s a network decision that’s primarily driven by the teams. The Marlins and Red Sox, for example, have successfully influenced the replacement of broadcasters in recent years. My bet is that Fox Sports South consults with the Braves on these decisions which likely means Joe is here to stay.
