GDT 4/23 Max and the Sunday Slump Busters!!!

Rosario swings at balls 3 and 4 then grounds into a dp. When Harris gets back him and Ozuna never need to see an ab

Can someone explain to me why he is allowed to swing ? I’ve noticed this before, and I do not understand. Honestly curious

Totally getting it done with reserves serving as starters. We have 4 holes that need to be fixed. Ozuna, Rosario, Pillar, and White should not be on this team.

Well, the „murderers row“ lineup is currently down to Acuna, Murphy and whoever else happens to catch a good day.
Matt Olson has a look on his face of a guy who is genuinely clueless why these pitches keep sailing past his bat. Rosario is either still not seeing the ball, or his bat is so slow that he can‘t square up anything. Grissom looks like a guy trying a little too hard to make up for his defensive shortcomings. Not a good look right now. Next road trip can‘t come soon enough.

At least we’ll get some good news on the bullpen with McHugh returning as early as tomorrow and hopefully Iglesias not too far behind. Hopefully Harris back soon so we don’t have to have two utility players in the starting lineup.

As far as Ozuna and Rosario, I got nothing

Anybody got anything here ? Like I am honestly very surprised Rosario or Ozzie allowed to swing. At all. I know I’m missing something, but I don’t know what .Thanks

White is just a temporary Harris replacement. Once Harris returns I expect Hillard/Pillar will serve as the LF platoon and Rosario/Ozuna will hold down the DH spot until TDA's return at which time decisions will need to be made. Decisions which could be vastly impacted by how comfortable the Braves are with TDA's health.

Frustrating weekend, but nobody who is a Braves fan should panic. All three games could have been won. Braves led in every game. It would be a whole other thing if the Astros won each game by five or six runs and lit up the Atlanta starters. What we’re dealing with is the one thing that can derail a good team and it’s injuries. The good news there is that none of the injuries are considered long term, although the concussion for T D’A does bear watching. Tough weekend, but that’s baseball sometimes. Go get the Marlins.

Frustrations are painful. If Iglesias is not due back soon need to get Josh Tomlin on the next plane in to straighten Minter out.
