GDT 4/24/26: Braves vs Phillies - Interesting Lineup Adjustment

Obviously, stringing hits together is the key to scoring runs, so until Riley starts hitting regularly, removing the nearly automatic out from the string of hitters seems like a good move.

He’ll tell them when it’s time to move him back up.

This team can be a real contender, but Eli white needs to be upgraded.
I mean, if they drop Heim for Murphy and Farmer for Kim, White becomes a rarely-used 26th-man.

But I like Mateo more than White, and his speed makes White’s only utility to the team defensive OF replacement. The real rub is whether Yaz can rebound. If not, the Braves (insert Bernie meme) once again need a primary LF, leaving Yaz as a backup, and White sidelined off the roster.

Gotta have a backup cf, and he needs to be RH. White just can't hit any better than me

Dubon, Yastrzemski, and Mateo all have recent innings in CF. White is probably the more Powerful Defender of the Homeland, but we’re talking “in a pinch,” so I don’t think that should be a major roster consideration.
