GDT 4/3 braves vs mets

Harvey has been close to trash this year and looks just as bad tonight. That was such an easy position to score in.

I'm all for that, but Mallex has to go down for two weeks or we lose a year on him. So I'd give him at least two weeks down at some point when he cools off and loses CF playing time with Inciarte's return, then recall him to stay after that.

You run the risk of angering guys by doing that, though. If he keeps hitting, there's no justification for sending him down.
 
Last year we kept hearing that Mallex' defense was suspect. I have to say that so far his defense has been fine.
 
Mallex is a guy I would keep up unless his performance warrants a trip to AAA. But he needs to be playing everyday once Ender returns. And while it's a small sample his defense in center has rated extremely well. Already 5 DRS and UZR that would come out to 30 over a full season. Obviously I don't think he's that good but he has played really well out there. And his offense is coming around after a slow start.
