GDT#4, 4/4/'14: Braves (Hale) @ Nationals (Zimmerman) 1:05 PM

I disagree with you as usual, Hale may be a rookie but he's the better pitcher. But given Fredi favors veterans you are likely to get your wish.

Hale should continue to do well as long as he continues to throw a sinker with as much bite it had today (along with two decent to really good off-speed pitches).

I dont think it matters too much in the grand scheme of things, personally.

18 2/3 strait IP of no-run ball from our starters. Not too shabby! The Braves have scored 8 runs this season and are 3-1. I am worried about the offense, but maybe some home-cookin and a Mets bullpen can snap them out of the funk next week.

didnt see game

mlb highlight package made hale look lucky. 3 guys down on the base paths and some good defensive plays.

Gattis hit the dong....but he is striking out more than BJ. Gattis, BJ, and Uggla worry me with the SO.

I think you are more likely to see Wood go to the bullpen than Harang (but Hale will be the one losing out, so it doesn't matter until/unless Floyd returns).

I don't know: at this point, I don't think the Braves can afford to remove Wood from the rotation.

Right, mainly meant skip him a start here or there when we have an off-day, etc.

Oh, okay. That's not removing him from the rotation, so I misunderstood. Yeah. He should be the #5 guy for that reason alone once/if everyone returns healthy.
