Allen has earned a shot. As long as he is performing, he should be playing. He may not be the answer long term, but he wouldn’t be the first guy to take a couple of years to figure it out and become a solid regular.

I suspect Arcia will also get another shot, but his leash will be getting shorter with each opportunity.

AJSS is giving me Wright vibes. The stuff is there for a solid #3, but the execution is holding him back. It all clicked for Wright just before he got hurt, and it would be awesome to see a similar trajectory for AJSS with some better injury luck.

I don't recall since it was 2022, but were you liking Wright's stuff and data before he got injured and figured it out or did it look like a smokescreen to you.

Guys like Fried, Touki, Newk, and Strider always had ingredients you never wanted to give up on.

Guys like Soroka, Wright, Schwelly, and now AJSS had the ingredients that could make them quality SPs.

Schwelly somehow took a significant step forward with the ingredients, and is now approaching that first group.

Guys like Waldrep, Allard, and all the other guys I’ve pegged as nothing special never had the ingredients of a MLB SP.
