GDT: 4/8/'15 - Atlanta Braves (Shelby) @ Miami Marlins (Koehler), Fredi showing off.

Where are all the people who told us the Braves would be dog**** and and the current organization had no clue what they are doing?

Nice start... a little worried about the back end of our rotation... but that's probably bc I'm mad we lost Heyward

Honestly the season is really, really long. I'm as hopeful as any but I still have my doubts.

I've really enjoying this series, but it IS early. If Wren can build a winner that only shows it's a loser five years later, we might want to give the Mukaki Rebuild a bit more time.

Here's a stat for all time: With his first MLB win, Cunniff is now 15-0 in his professional career. In five minor league seasons, went 14-0 with 33 saves and 1.74 ERA in 173 games. Have no idea how to look up anyone with a comparable pro career.

They are here. They haven't left.

That said I'm expecting half the Marlins team to be traded by the deadline in another fire sale.

I'm right here.

It's 3 games. We also scored two runs in 2 of those games.

The team is going to get positional upgrades in the next year or two from the farm. Baseball hasn't changed much. Its about pitching and timely hitting. Braves have the pitching and are starting to build a culture of contact hitters who fight through AB's. Thats the way to win IMO. We are going to see if works.

This team will be more fun to watch than the crap they rolled out there last year. At least after one series, this team seems to have heart

I also would say they don't think the team is total garbage though.

I think they like the personalities and some of the pieces, but nobody within the Braves is expecting to win more than 75 or so games, at most.

I'm talking the personnel side, obviously not the players and coaches.
