Mac and Flowers > Realmuto

I for real mentioned that the WAR difference wouldn't be that drastic, especially when considering the price. Though certainly Mac and Flowers pacing the league in combined fWAR at catcher was far greater than even I imagined.

Yeah I thought the Phillies combined WAR at catcher would be less than 1 above the Braves at the end of the year. Which was certainly not worth going above what the Phillies did to get JTR.

I was thinking like around 5 WAR for Philly and around 3-4 WAR for Atl.

It's crazy, but at this point in the season, we're getting legit 5+ fWAR level of production from 6 of the 8 positions. And Neck is pacing for 3 WAR.

Ozzie Albies is the youngest player to hit three career grand slams since A-Rod hit three by the age of 20 in 1996, only 4 players in big league history have hit more grand slams before their 23rd birthday. They are Ted Williams, Eddie Mathews, Ken Griffey Jr. and Giancarlo Stanton.

Also not too shabby

I still find it interesting that the Braves took Soroka 14 picks after selecting Kolby Allard in the first round of the 2015 draft. Who'd have guessed there'd be such a huge difference in their trajectories just four years later.
