Smith was on a roll before this, and Snit gives him all that time off, and he returns a complete mess. ****ing ridiculous.
 
On the bright side, I think they still haven't announced that they aren't repeating last year with every team making the playoffs?
 
Long-term, would it be the worst thing in the world to struggle for another month and have Snitker get fired? I was always a little worried we would be stuck with him for the entire window of contention we are in here, but maybe not.
 
I can’t recall ever following a team that has alternated between losing 4 and winning 4 like this. It’s a very odd pattern.

We're using ~15% of our payroll on a guy who has been eminently replaceable in his Braves tenure. Given the massive holes that we appear willing to leave unaddressed while attempting to compete, I would love to be out from under that obligation.
 
I'm sorry but this team should be embarrassed to get swept in all 6 games against a team, no matter who the team is. This just is not a good team right now. Night and day from last year. How many leads can this bullpen blow?
