GDT 5/17/25: Braves @ Red Sox - It's My Daughter's Birthday

When it got to 6-4 you have to use your best guys not Montero and DLS. This is on the bullpen and Snit. His bullpen usage has always been garbage. We should have no doubt won this game.
 
Well, I made 70 bucks because I put 20 on us losing the game when we were up 6-2. It was painfully obvious Snitker was going to fuck it up.
 
I’ve tried to lay off the criticisms of Brian Snitker, because I feel like I’d just be repeating the same stuff said here and other platforms. Like I’d be offering nothing new to the conversations. But when I see Snitker’s comments like what was posted by Barrett Salee, it loses me. Saving pitchers? It doesn’t make sense to me. Herman Edwards had a quote that said “Hello! You play to win the game!” Snit did not manage to win. You don’t put Montero in after the Red Sox scored two the prior inning. Because Rafael, to put it nicely as I can, is not good. It could’ve been worse had Harris not made a nice catch at the wall.
 
Saving guys tonight so they can pitch tomorrow is beyond insane. What if we are getting blown out or are blowing the other team out? They won't pitch then either. You always keep your foot on their throat each night bc you can't assume you'll be in position to win the following night. I don't remember as it catching this much crap in the media before. Hopefully that gives AA more pressure to do something if we are still hovering around 500 at the break.
