This is obviously not going to be a good game to keep an eye on. Time to get back to work.
I'm wondering if that pitch hit a nerve. If it did then Acuna's entire arm would feel like it was on fire. Him being on the ground would be totally reasonable.
No doubt. I hope it is him overreacting, But I can relate to being hit in that location. Just keeping my fingers crossed it hit more muscle than bone. I missed 3 months….. but that was also in the mid 90’s when sports medicine was ****. But I also got hit with a 98 mph fastball
Welp, now I am legit concerned. Never seen anything like that before, so it would make sense if it derailed another MVP season for Acuna.

Start at 1:22. It shows Megill watching Acuna on the ground. Dude's practically smirking. No way this was unintentional. Two pitches so you don't get immediately ejected, then he went up and in with a fastball.
I hate that pitchers don't have to bat.
If he did it on purpose, hopefully the baseball gods even things up with a Riley 112mph off his chin
Im at the game and Citi Field is completely empty. Pretty fun to see this few people at a game
Hope Ronald's okay and it's just precaution, otherwise we're screwed.
