Welp, now I am legit concerned. Never seen anything like that before, so it would make sense if it derailed another MVP season for Acuna.
 
If Acuna was a Yankee, Manfred would have personally walked onto the field and banned the pitcher for life. But he's a Brave so pitchers repeatedly and intentionally throwing at him is not a big deal.
 
The thing is the Mets pitcher threw 2 fastballs for strikes in a tight grouping and then one near his head....doesn't look like it got away....

Really would love to see someone hit on their team. Hopefully we bring in Minter to do the deed. He can use a few days off

Start at 1:22. It shows Megill watching Acuna on the ground. Dude's practically smirking. No way this was unintentional. Two pitches so you don't get immediately ejected, then he went up and in with a fastball.

I hate that pitchers don't have to bat.
 
Wouldn’t be surprised if it was on purpose after the game Ronald just had. Can’t win anything, can’t beat Atlanta, so throw at the guy dominating you.

If he did it on purpose, hopefully the baseball gods even things up with a Riley 112mph off his chin
 
Hope Ronald's okay and it's just precaution, otherwise we're screwed.
 
Generally not in favor of throwing at guys, but hard to not want to see a met bum beaned right now.
