First pitch to Flowers was very similar, but the Mets catcher reached up and let the ball carry his mitt up out of the zone.
Flowers catches everything with his mitt moving towards the zone.

I've never been a fan of the pitcher batting 8th, it might work sometimes but over a longer period it cost you runs and therefore games IMO. It cost us at least a run or more last night.

Nice to see Newk cutting the fastball loose tonight. Seemed like he started aiming it a good bit and was sitting around 90-91 toward the end of the last game in Cincy.

Newk control issues can make him have trouble with even the worst of hitters, as he did that inning.

I just realized Albies has never had a hit vs DeGrom, hopefully that changes here.
