GDT 5/20/26: Braves @ Marlins - Fish for Sale

They advise/refer.
Because all injuries are the same and human bodies heal alike. Or maybe, the injury he had was blown completely out of proportion. Either way, You just have to bitch about somebody since the team is playing so well. The flight attendents will be next

It's fair to question what's different now and a few months ago when SS had his operation. Skubal's was the first one performed on a pitcher I believe. Was that option available for SS #2? Was it for the same thing? SS's version may be more of a sure thing. Skubal's was somewhat experimental but I feel like he had a bigger payoff if he can proove he's healthy before the end of the year so it was worth the risk.

I actually have a unique perspective on this. I can’t speak to Skubal’s surgery exactly but I can offer my own experience.

In 2009 I needed to have glenoid reconstruction surgery on both my shoulders (they put bone from your pelvis in to keep them from coming out of place) until that time the surgery had always been done open but around then a new technique came out to perform the surgery arthroscopicly. For the sake of time I had my left shoulder done open and 2 months later had my right shoulder done arthroscopicly.

Since it was a new procedure and it was my surgeons first time doing it another surgeon was scheduled to do the surgery with him.

Basically what I’m saying is for me the new surgery wasn’t available 2 months beforehand and new surgeries require additional scheduling to get on the books.
