GDT 5/20 The Backup Catcher and the Return Part Two: I Know You Strider

We’ve seen strider tend to struggle at 95 historically. If he can’t get back to 98-99 there’s a good chance he won’t be very effective.
 
If Snitker has any intention of winning this game he needs to pull Strider and go to Blewett and the pen for the rest of the game.
 
Stating the obvious and I know it's his first start back, but he's cooked if that fastball stays at 94-96 mph.
 
I'm hopeful that after a few starts his control returns. He can't dominate at this velocity, but if he has his normal control, he can be a good pitcher.
 
He’s not throwing enough strikes to make them have to swing at anything close.

Most of the damage has been because he’s pitching behind in the count and has to throw a strike.
