Idk why fans are leaving. I just thought it was an interesting point. Maybe changing some things in the games would attract more fans. I'll be here regardless, but mlb should be trying to get more than diehards.

ETA.... there's clearly a problem with attracting fans

It should also be pointed out that baseball’s decline in popularity is only on a national stage. It’s still huge regionally. It must not be that unwatchable.

It’s just funny to me that you think you manage anyone. You job is to summarize the work done by the actual talent in your company. You produce nothing. You lead nothing.

The actual talent in your company looks at you as a joke and rolls their eyes constantly. They all joke about how worthless your little charts are.

Trust me, no developer is jealous of a project manager who plays charts all day. We consider you a joke who will be automated out of a position soon enough.

Yeah I pay attention only due to fantasy and gambling but could not sit through a 9 inning game that isn't the Braves

I can if it’s the playoffs. Occasionally I’ll pop in and watch some of another game if it’s on TV. But, that’s always been the case.

Same with me in most sports. If it’s not my team I couldn’t care less.

Nfl has the benefit of playing only once a week, so “game day” becomes a big deal. Baseball is played every day, and almost becomes more a background thing that’s just always on.

I rank Riley’s continued real progress as the biggest bright spot of the first quarter of the season. Getting a legit option at 3b is huge for this roster.
