Wow. Hernandez gets absolutely no calls, which leads to one run. Ozzie gets on, makes one of the most ridiculous steal attempts I've ever seen, yet the Braves load the bases, and then Eli White is called out on a ball.
 
I sorta blame Murphy there... he knows who is on deck... you have to expand your zone and try to hit the ball

and I hope someone asks if the steal was called or just Ozzie being aggressive.. I mean stealing on a backup catcher and a RHP with a slider being thrown should have gotten him to second.. but ozzie is not fast anymore.

I honestly don’t know what else to say. Struggles and all, the Braves are in nearly every game they play, but they refuse to play fundamentally sound baseball. That’s the biggest reason they’re 25-29. It’s unbelievably frustrating.
 
Ozzie is a stupid player doing stupid things. Other than that, that was a really good 9th inning that ended prematurely because of a terrible ump
 
I saw this on Twitter, and it's absolutely perplexing: Pinch running Drake Baldwin in the 9th, who is maybe marginally faster than Ozuna and giving up the ability to pinch hit Drake Baldwin in the 9th (like maybe for Eli White) is tough for me to swallow at the moment

Also, this is a list of the run deficits in losses over the last month: 2, 1, 1, 7, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2, 1
 
either Twit doesn't care if certain guys try to steal regardless the situation or Twit called that steal.. So which one is it.

But again, there was rumblings just a few games ago about how the team doesn't put pressure on the defense.. So which one is it..

Back up catcher, RHP, picked a slider to run on... all good signs for stealing.. maybe the bench coach should know Ozzie's sprint speed and think about letting him steal when he wants.

I said it when I saw him pinch run.. there is no point to give up your best bat left to run a little faster than Ozuna. The only problem, is who plays the OF if Baldwin only ties that game there?
 
Braves should have a big advantage tonight with Phillies emptying their pen, but you know wheeler is going 8
