Probably a combination of Carle regressing plus the fact that Snitker tends to wear out a reliever or two. Call it the Sam Freeman Syndrome.

Carle likely wasn't on a lot of advance scouting reports. Now that the league has adjusted to him, maybe he adjusts back, but who knows as he was seen as a general nobody.

Familia is available for two. He struggles in multi innings but this game is likely over the way the bats have gone.
