I didnt like throwing him in the deal with Jason, thought that was over-kill.

Said many times i hated how Hart gutted the bullpen.

Bochy's track record speaks for itself as does Fredi's, but I was surprised he didn't bring in Lopez after the botched DP. Not that it was Casilla's fault there.

Looking at his game long, he's been used situationally.

But at home, most teams keep their closers in but i can see the argument going with Lopez given he's nasty on LH hitters.

I understand that, I was thinking it could be that he had been used a lot lately (haven't checked) but maybe Bochy just had faith in his closer getting it done. Of course without the botched DP ball he likely does.
