Segura would be the thorn here to get a 60 MPH EV 2 run single.
If you’re ever going to let a young guy try to turn the order over 3x, the time to do it is up by 2 vs a bad offense with a pitch count in the 60s.

Good deal. I don't know if I'd let him go back out there again unless the offense explodes this inning. Maybe try him until he allows a base runner?

Good stuff Dodd. If Wright is out for an extended period I wonder if they’ll try to use Dodd like they did Elder towards the end of last season. Essentially bringing him up for spot starts against bad offenses to give other guys rest.
