etremely might be a stretch.. last month he hit 260ish with a 775 OPS I think. much better than March.. but still a bit low for someone trying to make the show. He is just fortunate that Grissy is awful at baseball and the team decided enough is enough. He will be the strong side of a platoon I guess with Grissy being late inning get on base pinch hitter.

I'm not sure how they will work it out. But the Braves have an off day on Monday and Thursday. So they could run out a 4 man rotation for the next week and be fine.

good point I was wondering about off days. This allows them to use a larger bullpen until the 5th starter is needed. Then anyone of Dodd, Shuster, Soroka could be called up.
 
We don’t need a fifth starter until the week of the fifteenth - so we are good as is for awhile.
Dodd looks to me like he can sure handle it… that one bad game aside -
And that’s gonna be Soroka’s spot soon enough.

And if that doesn’t work …I’m gonna start for calling for AJSS to get the call! He’s already in AA- next stop: 755 Battery Ave.

Okay… I’ll concede that extremely can be crossed out. But looking at his full season stats certainty doesnt tell the whole story
