Long before Snit was manager I heard they were close personal friends.
 
I have to admit. I always liked Bill on the Braves Show and was a premium subscriber for years. He really did know a lot about minor league ball but he butted heads with some people.

I can't remember anything he was ever competent about. He was nothing but a small town bumpkin who was able to talk to some people who actually knew something because they were all in a podunk town together.
