GDT #50: May 26, 2014 Red Sox (Buchholz) @ Braves (Santana), 1:10pm EST

You know, everyone always talks about how fans of some opposing teams show up at our stadium, but there's never anything about how we always show up at everyone else's ballpark.

That's not really true. I think it might have been more common in the late 90s when the Braves were in the height of their run and on TBS every night but lots of Braves fans would regularly show up at Marlins games and Astros games for sure. I think with the lack of TBS the Braves fan base isn't as broad as it used to be. That said the Red Sox are one of the giant bandwagon teams in the league along with the Cubs and Yankees.

Are you kidding me? There are always tons of Braves fans at every stadium we go to. You can hear them too.

Actually I think Yankees, Dodgers, Cardinals, and Red Sox fall into the crowd of teams followed by parents/grandparents. Baseball wasn't always as expansive as it is now, and some people choose to follow teams their parents go for. I was in the same basic boat growing up.

They have a pretty good following in other stadiums.

Maybe not as good in the 90's but it's pretty good.
