I agree. Fried was/is a much better pitching prospect than some make him out to be. That's part of why I'm so surprised that we haven't really had many opportunities.

Strasburg is this generation's Bert Blyleven. Electric stuff, but pays for every mistake and seems to lack composure at key points in the game. One difference is that Bert was/is an absolute flake and Strasburg seems to be more of a whiner.
