What Newc is doing is so valuable. With starters working fewer innings I think having long relievers who are not just mop up guys and can spot start is important. The bullpen worked 6 yesterday and today could have gotten out of hand.

Yep. Also, we tend to harp on Snitker's weaknesses a lot, but I like that he is willing to use relievers for more than one inning when they're throwing well. He does it a lot with Newk, Touki, Jackson.
