Obviously he's not the best SS. And obviously his babip will not stay that high, but doesn't this indicate he's getting the results he should be?

More often than not if you use the whole field, are fast and you hit the ball hard you will have a high BABIP. Swanson is doing all three of those things this year and is putting together his best season yet.

His xBA is .272 and BA is .284

He’s been lucky on balls in play but this suggest his quality of contact has been quite good
 
Amazing Swanson is where he’s at considering how abysmal he was the first few weeks. He had like 23ks in his first 42 and or something like that. And he was botching plays at short as well.

That’s always been the book on Danbae around here—either too much or too little love, depending on what sort of streak he’s on. But this has been one of his better stretches of offense + defense (+ baserunning).

I’m very curious to know the answer. Surely he didn’t make a typo and actually mean Berkman, of the Lance variety, because that too would be idiocy.

He was the great college baseball coach at lsu. He had lots of championships, so I'm not sure dansby is better
 
Dansby > Bregman isnt a crazy take honestly. 2020, 2021, and the start of this year, Danbsy has been better. I'm interested what AA does with Dansby, contract wise.

How about crying racism as a motive for moving a stadium despite now actually playing where your fans live?

IDIOCY is a great word for things like that.

I’m aware that Bregman has fallen off the last couple seasons and has been battling injury. I’m also aware that Bregman was still better than Swanson last year offensively. There’s only been two seasons in which Swanson has been better than Bregman and they’re 2020 and 2022. And guess what? They’re both only 60 game sample sizes.

It’s ok to “not be right”. Oh, but you should know that by now.
