I definitely want Keuchel, but it won't take that. He's not an ace but is a very good, reliable starting pitcher. I think 3/60 would have a chance, but it would probably take a bit more. He's not getting 30 plus a year though for sure.

I'd sign him for your proposed deal. So much money will be available and he isn't a guy that is max effort that will lose something in the next 5 years. With our infield defense the way its shaping up Keuchel is a tremendous add for the team as we move into our WS competitive window.
 
The epic meltdown about DK getting to bat that last time had me reevaluate the nervous ninnies. What a meltdown from you guys.

To be clear...

DK has to settle for the prorated portion of about $20M over 1 year at the age of 31, and now folks want to give him that amount or more over 3 years for his age 32-34 seasons because he strung together 2 good starts?

Seems like a perfectly logical and well thought out plan!

What would you think it would take to sign Keuchel after the season...fair value for both sides?
 
If Keuchel is willing to accept a 1 year deal for less than 20 million, I may consider bringing him back. I think that is highly unlikely and I don't think Dallas is going to be a Brave after this season.
