GDT 6/13: Strider, and a Hard Rain’s Gonna Fall

I mean Arcia has been crazy lucky but he’s also been so much fun and still really good

His defense has been most impressive. He doesnt have a ton of range, but solid arm and glove. He's arguably a top 5 most valuable player on the team given the replacements or lack of behind him.

Matt Vierling is a guy I’ve liked since his time in Philly. Think a team that actually knows how to develop hitters will eventually get him and turn him into a very useful piece. Can play all over the field too.

The Braves signed free-agent first baseman Jesus Aguilar to a minor league contract, per the team’s transaction log at MLB.com.

This. When you control for luck, his offense is in line with career norms. But the defense hasn't been luck. It's been a nice surprise.

What has gotten into the Tigers offense? They've not played near this level all year. Trash players are crushing the ball.
