GDT 6/14- MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE

i thought the Freeman ab was key and when he k'd on ball four i didn't like our odds but glad we still pulled it out. Their left field defense didn't help.
 
Great professional hitter 2 strike adjustment by McCann after swinging over the top of 2 low splitters. He went down and just poked it into LF. The man can still hit.
 
Make fun of other board melt downs, but this place would be just as bad if we didn’t run off the dumbest posters.

If we can come through the rest of the weekend this is the kind of thing that could really deflate Philly at least temporarily. That had to hurt.
 
It is early but morale can have a short term effect and it sure would be nice to build a lead.

I’m saying I don’t expect the Phillies to let this crater their season. They’re too talented.

However, the Braves were pretty pumped tonight. As emotional as I’ve ever seen them. It wouldn’t surprise me if tomorrow is a let down game.
 
This game was kinda perfect timing for us, from a momentum and mood standpoint. We're heading into a stretch where we play 17 division games out of our next 21. I'm glad that we're heading into that with some great comeback wins and an 8 game winning streak.

I agree the Phillies aren’t going anywhere but I do think tonight may be more important than your average game.
