We are also going to have a ton of money coming off the books and a lot of cheap players on the roster. I’d much rather spend that money on Grandal. He’d be a big upgrade and wouldn’t have a qualifying offer attached since he received one last year.

If the Mac and Flowers tandem signs for cheap again, we can spend that money in other places.

And the young pitchers being around those two more only helps especially since they're still two damn good pitch framers.

Neither Bruce or Kingery seemed to know how to catch that one.

Roman Quinn catches that one, but he is on rehab right now. Once he is back they might have him sub for Bruce late in LF unless he is used in CF. Then again despite not catching that Bruce has made some great catches in LF so far for Philly in previous games. He also has a 4 DRS to show for it and a 5 DRS in LF overall. So maybe Bruce just didn't see that ball well for whatever reason.

He’s probably the best starting pitcher who will be available. He might require an over pay. I suspect we will also try to keep Keuchel who will be expensive if everything works out. Of course if we don’t re-sign Donaldson and don’t exercise Julio’s option we’ll have a lot of cash to play with.
