He and Gausman should do well in the pen and if Newk struggles starting....well....

If Newk struggles starting we are facing a sweep at home if this lead holds. Newk needs to come up big.

I have to think they've punted on Gausman starting tbh. The chatter is that he's going to be in the pen for good whenever he's healthy again, they just got sick of his ****.

Fried regressing ain't an opportunity for Gaus to get a second chance, it's another shot for Newcomb IMO.

im hopeful that Soroka, DK and Teheran can be good enough. But Fried and Folty concern me. Maybe Gausman will come back strong if it really was an injury effecting him.
