Remember when the Nationals signed yet another big name pitcher for stupid long term money?

Remember when the Phillies gave up big time prospects and spent stupid long term money on players?

Remember when the Braves spent $33 million on one year contracts...not a single long term contract and keep EVERY LAST ONE of their prospects?

Could have went in different ways, but we have had pitchers under perform in the bull pen, starting pitching struggle and also have injuries...yet we are in first place and appear to be hitting our stride with cash left and prospects to burn.

AA has not been perfect, but his patience is paying off in a big way.
