And why no Duvall vs a LHP? But Contreras definitely needs to be catching games Acuña DHs. Also has someone found a good reason Heredia is still on the roster?
 
AA will find a taker for Heredia in late July for a bad money deal just so the other team can DFA him in 22 minutes.

It's a SSS, but you can't even say Heredia is in there for defense in large Coors Field because Heredia's defense (so far this year) is the worst of his career (-1 OOA).

I don’t get why this needs to be so complicated. There basically needs to be 3 lineups

Contreras should be in the lineup for sure. Heredia offers nothing of value so I’d rather have a better bat in there.

Back-to-back starts makes me think he's being looked at as being replaced... just wanna make sure
 
being 10.5 GB there is a good chance we could be sellers at the deadline rather than buyers. you remember last year we had a little streak to get us within 4 GB just before the deadline that caused us to be buyers. If we don't have that run, which guys are likely to move?

We would have to be wayyyyy back of the WC for AA to sell. Coming off of a WS and with attendance way up that would be a nightmare. I suspect we’ll be buyers regardless of the record come the deadline.

I doubt we'd sell unless we're like 10 GB in the WC, but I would try to sell:
Swanson (only if AA is serious about spending big money on the upcoming SS class)
Will Smith
Charlie Morton
Kenley Jansen
 
I will likely miss the Braves coming to town for the first time since I moved here in 2000. I have mixed emotions- Ive never missed them, and I want to celebrate the championship. On the other hand, I generally hate watching them in Coors, and they generally don't play well here (or as well as they should).
