GDT 6/22/19: Swatting Gnats

PHEW!

The only truly bad outcome this weekend was a sweep. That takes a lot of pressure out of tomorrow’s game.

If we can win the series, that will give us some good breathing room as the Nats head into the soft part of their schedule.

(And it’s always great to see Miami have our backs — what a disastrous series for Philly @ home)

You've found yourself a good Thanks cow to milk.

That will never get old and when we win you're gonna get 5-6 minimum. Even more when Freddie or Mac win the game for us.

Yep, said before the series, just avoid the sweep so Washington pretty much doesnt gain much ground.

Hopefully Soroka comes up big on Sunday though, and we can put Was in an even bigger hole.

Really impressive series from the bullpen so far. Kept us close last night in a game we almost won and were a huge reason why we won tonight.

AA/Snit/Kranitz have done a good job piecing this pen together on the fly this season. If we can trade for a shutdown reliever I like our chances.

You gave me the idea to add it to our victory parade in GDTs. It was the night you were at the gym well after midnight after a rain delayed game and saw it and laughed out loud and was glad no one else was in there. :FrediConfident:

Its a testament to the offense that the Braves continue to win as the team searches for answers in the rotation and BP.

I honestly don’t know how they are going to maintain patience with the pitching staff much longer.

Especially with the rotation. The bullpen has stabilized for the most part (and relative to bullpens in the league it’s above average), but the rotation has been outright awful this season.
