GDT 6/23/22: Braves vs Giants - Thursday is the New Sunday

Taking 2 of 3 would from LA would really shut up all the idiots who said the Braves were only winning because they played bad teams.

Never expected a large winning streak but the Braves getting back to playing great baseball isn't surprise. The team is good and in a great position for the rest of the season.

Yeah - You can dismiss high BABIP's but can't as easily dismiss underlying drivers that support an elevated BABIP.

As long as folks understand no “underlying drivers” support a true talent .400+ BABIP, yes, that is correct.

The most realistic true talent BABIP to use for future Arcia projections is just like almost everyone else: .300-.320. Very few hitters can actually sustain anything much higher, and only the most homerific posters would think Arcia is suddenly one of those select few.

Pretty sure he's from the Bay Area and wanted to go back home

he addressed that in the 11 alive interview

well, about coming back

said the offseason being rushed cause of the lock out and the braves worrying about bigger needs etc

it wasn't an answer of "i wanted to go closer to home" or anything though

he praised the hell out of atlanta

give me a second and will find the pregame q&a
