GDT 6/23/22: Braves vs Giants - Thursday is the New Sunday

It will always be a what if moment for braves history. Prospects seem to be fizzling it out a bit so maybe not a big deal at all but freeman is a HOF in his prime.

I would have given him a 3 year deal with a 4th year team option. But FF and his camp wanted 6 guaranteed, and i dont think AA was ever gonna go there.

I'm actually encouraged by Olson recently. Seems like is is finally hitting everything in the air. I take that as a good sign

Get one more out of Kyle.

Then try to get some work for 3 of Chavez/Lee/McHugh/O'Day. I wouldn't potentially waste Kenley Jansen (for tomorrow) in this game unless it's absolutely necessary.

I think with a 5 run lead you've got to get two more innings out of Wright.

Need to be as rested as possible for Dodgers.

You can be over it and still recognize this will always be a big question in the history of the franchise.

Maybe we end up getting it right. Just saying its a legit inflection point.

Oh I agree. But I do think AA got it right.

Wright's around 80 pitches, one more and try to get through this without using Smith, Jansen, Minter.

Welp, probably gonna have to use the top arms today to get through this one.
