For the record: I'm skeptical the team would actually send Swanson down from Cobb County, even given his shaky start in the field and abysmal performance at the plate, because they pinned so much on him this season and don't want to shoot Gudetama all over their faces. But I still think it's a worthwhile discussion.

That's just how pernicious the decision to bring him up last year was. If Camargo or Bob Loblaw or whoever was the starting SS this year and Dansbo was hitting .250 in AAA I doubt there'd be a huge clamor to bring him up. Now he's up and the idea of demoting him is just too much to bear.
 
So Newcomb and wisler on Saturday. I can't tell you how much I'd love to see those 2 give us a quality start
