As wild as it might have sounded a couple months ago, it's the only way. Something is not registering. This is not going to get any easier with Baltimore coming up and the Yankees looming.

Along with that, the team needs to decide in the next couple of weeks whether it has any interest in resigning Fried and is willing to win a bidding war. If not, they need to spend all of July fielding offers to move him for the best return possible.
