I applaud Fredi for leaving him in. Mike is a big leaguer, he must tough it out in these conditions. This is also a 4 game set, and we can't assume our pen can stomach 5 innings a game 3 days in a row.
I wouldn't have sent Wood to AAA till after this series, plenty of opportunities to stretch out in Colorado.

Makes me wonder how we escaped with 2 wins in the '95 series. Game 1 had several miracles and we just happened to have luck that series.
