Julio's home/away average splits are pretty amazing. Home: 1.22 ERA with a allowed average of .178. On the road, he's still good, but it's: 3.45 ERA with an allowed average of .240.
Ha that's funny.
Now people want to adhere to the "standards?"
Have you seen the crap we've gotten out of the leadoff spot? Besides a great month or so from Jason, we've gotten turds. You might want to check your thinking there. I'd still go Jason, JUP, Freeman, Gattis*, CJoh, LaStella, CJoh, BJ, Simmons... but, we've gotten a good bit of work from BJ. Also, 7-1 is dope.
The Braves are 7-1 in spite of the lineup, not because of it. Some people just can't comprehend the difference between correlation and causation. Apparently Fredi is one of those people.
Your lineup would be much better than the current, but I would personally go TLS, JUp, Freeman, Gattis, Heyward, BJ, CJ, Simmons. Fredi can't keep putting guys with .300 BP in the top part of the lineup. It is absurdly stupid.

I do completely agree. The only good that BJ is doing in the leadoff is using his speed to his advantage. His base running has been good. I love LaStella and I'd love to see him leading off, but not yet. He just didn't look comfortable there. Given some time, I completely agree with you.
There are no standards. It's simply a matter of superstition.
Let's try and get more then one.

Better than a GIDP, anyway.
I haven't graduated to that level of confidence in the offense. A single run here is fine.
