What constitutes solid thethe? Not saying that's not correct because that's your opinion. I consider him average with a few strong points. In his defense he inherited a sanctioned farm system and has MAINTAINED it. I think there are a few strong pieces but whether it's gun shy from a previous bad trade or reluctance, there are diminished returns to be expected from some of what was once the Braves better prospects.
AA was handed a TREMENDOUS situation no doubt but he got that situation up 3-1 against the World Series champs. Its just normal Braves fortunes in the playoffs. I always felt the pitching would right itself this year and we'd be back in a similar spot but obviously the Acuna injury changed everything.
I just see a loaded/young team with a lot of flexibility (assuming Ozuna is back on the field) with a good deal of help about 1.5 years away on the farm. I'm also not seeing the free agent signing that AA blew aside from a potential DV issue with a player.
