I dont really disagree but you act like the Braves are the only team to lose to bad teams.

Every team does over the course of a long year.
 
Joe summed it up well on the broadcast, anyway you look at it, this is a bad loss. One team chasing you is swept, the other loses two out of three, and you're playing a last place pathetic dog of a team and you can no ground essentially, and again I point out, this team is one game over .500 since the 12-1 start. This team is coasting and going through the motions right now and while it might cost them the division it will in the playoffs.
 
LMAO lost two of three to the White Sox. And all the excuses and fall backs keep on pouring in.

On the bright side, Minor didn't give up any bombs today, so there's that.

so he's a young guy with some bad habits. Where the hell are our coaches? I swear, in Fredi's country club it seems that guys don't have to work on their weaknesses. Uggla certainly hasn't done a damn thing about his K's with RISP.

Damn I was never one to complain about posters complaining but your doom and gloom posting is really tired.
Teams that just sneak into the playoffs after 162 games win the WS sometimes. To count us out is stupid and a typical whiny fan thing to do.

For the record this loss sucks and being able to add any ground sucks badly.

But the game was pretty unlucky if you watched.

If the Braves lose the division it's this weekend series that is the reason why. It's not the losses as much as it is when they occur. This was an awesome chance to add to the lead. We couldn't have asked for a better opportunity after we won Friday night.

We have squandered opportunity after opportunity to put this thing out of reach. I don't know of anyone that is "writing them off," but how many times is this going to happen?

I think Fredi is a terrible manager. We can sit here and debate his in-game moves, but he's a bad manager for the reasons someone named above: this team just goes through the motions. There's no urgency, there's no real concern with winning when the teams chasing you lose. They just go out there, swing hard, strikeout, and say "ah oh well." And I think this is partially the fault of Fredi. This team is too talented to be playing the **** baseball they play sometimes.

How long did dumbass Fredi keep Simmons in the leadoff spot? That's in a nutshell what's wrong. Simmons wasn't held accountable for ****ting the bed, and was continually slotted leadoff. No one is held accountable with Fredi. He looks too scared to be disliked or to ruffle feathers. Even with umps! He barks for a second and then is like "Yeah you're right buddy I love, I'll send you some chocolates later." He's not a good manager. He doesn't challenge anyone.

I dont disagree but if we lost it it's probably cuz the Nats and Phils played better ball.
