GDT 7-29: Braves at Royals Game 2

Ronald Acuna Jr is an amazing player. His skill set is among the best I have ever seen play the game of baseball. However, he tends to be a bit of a “wild horse”, if you will, that needs to be tamed on occasion. Snit has not done a great job of that.

Without question, he is one of the dumbest players in baseball in terms of baseball acumen. Snitker calls him out a few years back for an absolute blunder on the basepaths and the fan base gets mad at Snitker for not letting "Acuna be Acuna." I'm not a big-time Snitker guy, but he was probably in the right in that instance. Snitker has more warts than a one hundred-year-old witch in a fairy tale, but my guess is at that juncture, Snitker thought "What's the point? Acuna is just going to do what he's going to do and I'm not going to get crosswise with a generational talent."

And that's probably why you see Strider freak out bc he can see it. Like when he saw AJSS hurt and ran to the coaches.
