GDT 7/8: Braves in a AAA stadium

AA is in a terrible spot. He built this crap team, so I don't feel sorry for him. Not adding anyone and selling off some is absolutely the correct play, but he has to answer to his bosses on why no one is at the games the last 3 months of the season. After the investment the owners made in the battery, I think AA'a job security is much less than you'd think with how bad attendance is gonna be soon.

If AA does sell off some bullpen pieces and/or Ozuna, this team really could have the 3rd worst record in the majors and the 2nd best chance in the lottery because the Rockies are ineligible for a top pick next year.

My heart still wants the Braves to win these games. But my head is already rooting for the high draft pick at this point.

I don't think so. The owners would have been involved in the tax reset and may have been the ones to make the call. We don't know what went on behind closed doors. GM's get marching orders too.
